The 2009 C&C Prize Ceremony was held at ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo on November 26, 2009. The ceremony started with the welcome speech by Mr. Hajime Sasaki, the president of NEC C&C Foundation, followed by the recognition of 2009 prize recipients by Dr. Yasuharu Suematsu, the chairman of the award committee. The 2009 C&C Prizes were presented to Dr. Fumitada Itakura and three Professors. Ronald L. Rivest, Adi Shamir and Leonard M. Adleman by Mr.Hajime Sasaki. Unfortunately, Prof. Adleman was absent from the ceremony for medical reasons.
